Job Or Not - Why You Must Commit to a LinkedIn Routine [INFOGRAPHIC]

LinkedIn, LinkedIn Routine, Networking, Staffing Services While there is certainly no shortage of articles and reference material touting the importance of utilizing LinkedIn for both personal and professional reasons, many of its 300 million users (as of May 1, 2014) would still define their "LinkedIn Routine" as nothing more than accepting their most recent connection invites.

While "Keeping Your LinkedIn Profile Up-to-Date", searching for job opportunities, and accepting invitations is certainly important, LinkedIn has become so much more than that in the 11 years since it was initially established.  During that time, they have made frequent changes to the look, feel, and functionality of their system.  For those of you who haven't kept up with these changes, you may be shocked to learn that strategies and components that you used in the past may no longer work (or even exist).

As with anything worthwhile, the true benefits of LinkedIn may only be realized through focus, commitment, and continuous education.

To further drive this point home, we created the following infographic which shares insight on the importance of committing to a LinkedIn Routine with expertise from the folks at Careerealism.
